Need to access data and information for constituencies across the UK?

The House of Commons Library has been working with the University of Durham to give online access to an extensive range of data for parliamentary constituencies across the UK.

The new website www.constituencyexplorer.org.uk, enables you to find figures for a particular constituency and compare it with other areas.

Constituency Explorer uses official statistics from the most recent Census and other sources to allow you to examine over 150 variables, including population ages, means of transport to work, qualifications, health, and many more. In each case, users can explore the data for themselves and the site makes it easy to look at a particular constituency relative to other areas in the same region/nation and by political party.

There is also a quiz which enables viewers to interact with the constituency data.

This forms part of a broader range of Constituency statistics available on the parliament website covering the latest economic and social data. The Commons Library also has an app for Apple and Android devices with key constituency data, details are on the same webpage.
