Prime Minister of India visits UK Parliament

The Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, visited the Palace of Westminster on Thursday 12 November.
Prime Minister Modi gave a speech in the Royal Gallery to invited guests, including parliamentarians.
Commons Speaker, John Bercow MP, gave a welcome address introducing Prime Minister Modi's speech.
The Lord Speaker, Baroness D’Souza, thanked Prime Minister Modi following his speech.
After the speech, following a private reception with parliamentarians, Mr Modi was taken on a private tour of Parliament by Mr Speaker and the Lord Speaker, accompanied by the Prime Minister.
