This week in the House of Commons MPs debated the Children and Social Work Bill, the Government's plan for Brexit, the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and more.
Legislation: Government Bills
Children and Social Work Bill
The Children and Social Work Bill passed Second Reading on 5 December 2016. MPs will next consider the Bill in a Public Bill Committee which is scheduled to conclude by 17 January 2017, but could finish earlier.
Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill
Both the Report stage and Third Reading of the Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill took place on Tuesday 6 December in the House of Commons.
The Bill passed Third Reading without a division and is now expected to progress to the House of Lords.
