Members of the Lords debated the Strathclyde Review ‘Secondary legislation and the primacy of the House of Commons’, on Wednesday 13 January.

Members of the Lords discussed the role of the House in secondary legislation (statutory instruments). Peers considered the main options outlined in the review, and debated whether the Lords should retain its veto power over secondary legislation.
