The Bank of England and Financial Services Bill had its second reading in the Commons on Monday 1 February and has been sent to Public Bill Committee for detailed examination and evidence gathering.

Enterprise Bill
The Enterprise Bill had its second reading in the Commons on Tuesday 2 February and has been sent to Public Bill Committee for detailed examination and evidence gathering.

Legislation: Private Members Bills
Two Private Members Bills were introduced to the House following Ten Minute Rule Motions this week:
- Mobile Telecommunications Network Coverage (Contractual Obligations) Bill
- Automatic Electoral Registration (No. 2) Bill
On Friday 5 February MPs debated the Riot Compensation Bill. The Bill passed its Report Stage and Third Reading. MPs also debated the Criminal Cases Review Commission (Information) Bill. The Bill passed its Report Stage and Third Reading.

Opposition day debates
On Wednesday 3 February MPs debated tax avoidance and multinational companies in the House of Commons, in the first of two debates to take place on subjects chosen by the Opposition. The second Opposition debate was on public finances in Scotland.
E-petitions debates
On Monday 1 February, in the Westminster Hall Chamber, MPs debated an e-petition on transitional state pension arrangements for women born in the 1950s.
