Prime Minister, David Cameron, made a statement in the House of Commons on Tuesday 5 January 2016 on the recent meeting of the European Council.

Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition.

The Prime Minister attended the meeting of the European Council on 17-18 December 2015. The migration crisis, the fight against terrorism, and Britain's reform demands were discussed during the meeting.
