Lords private members' bills
11 March 2016
The House of Lords will consider seven private members' bills on Friday 11 March.
The bills cover categorisation of gambling machines, the Criminal Cases Review Commission, registration of driving instructors, drink-driving, riot compensation claims, access to innovative medical treatments, and NHS charities.
A private member's bill is a type of public bill (that affects the public). Private members' bills must go through the same set of procedures as other public bills.
