Lords debates workplace issues for black and minority ethnic people

Members of the Lords, including the chair of the Women's Business Council and a former chair of the Commission on the Future of Multi-Ethnic Britain debated the issues facing black and minority ethnic people in the UK workplace, on Tuesday 3 May.

This was a general debate. During debates, members are able to put their experience to good use, discussing current issues and drawing the government's attention to concerns.

The debate was proposed by Baroness Neville-Rolfe (Conservative), parliamentary under-secretary for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (Intellectual Property).
