MPs debated Queen's Speech: Day 4 - Europe, human rights and security

In the fourth day of debate on the Queen's Speech in the House of Commons on Tuesday 24 May 2016, MPs debated those aspects of the speech relating to Europe, human rights and keeping people safe at home and abroad.

Debate on the Address: Day 4

Following the first day of general debate on the Queen's Speech, there are five days of debate on specific topics. On the third day of debate MPs will discuss Europe, human rights and keeping people safe at home and abroad.

Further debate on different aspects of the Queen's Speech will proceed over the next two sitting days as follows:

  • Wednesday 25 May - Education skills and training
  • Thursday 26 May - Economy and work
