Lords private members' bills

The House of Lords will debate four private members' bills on Friday 18 November, covering international development targets, the register of arms brokers, renters' rights and lobbying transparency.

A private member's bill is a type of public bill (that affects the public). Private members' bills must go through the same set of procedures as other public bills.

International Development (Official Development Assistance Target) (Amendment) Bill (Second Reading)

A bill to amend the International Development (Official Development Assistance Target) Act 2015 in order to provide for a five year reporting period instead of an annual reporting period.

Register of Arms Brokers Bill (Committee Stage)

A bill to establish and publish a register of arms brokers.
