Final list of candidates for October 2016 select committee elections

Nominations for five select committee chair elections have now closed. Elections for the four contested positions take place Wednesday 19 October, with the ballot open between 10am and 1.30pm. The Speaker will announce the results in the Chamber that afternoon.

Select committee chairs are allocated according to party. Candidates require 15 signatures from their own party to be nominated, except in the case of the Scottish National Party where six signatures are required.
