Committee stage: day two: 19 December 2017

The Committee stage debate, day two, took place on Tuesday 19 December 2017. The Committee of the whole House considered several Clauses and there were two divisions (Division 77, Division 78)  The remainder of the Bill will now be considered in a Public Bill Committee which is scheduled to have its first meeting on Tuesday 9 January 2018, concluding by Thursday 18 January 2018.

The Committee stage, day one, took place on Monday 18 December 2017. A number of divisions took place (Division 74, Division 75, Division 76).

Second Reading

The House voted against a reasoned amendment to the Bill from the official Opposition. The Bill passed its second reading in the Commons on 11 December 2017.
