New Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent Central

Gareth Snell of the Labour Party has become Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent Central after winning the by-election held in that constituency on Thursday 23 February.
Stoke-on-Trent Central by-election
The by-election was called after the former MP, Tristram Hunt, appointed to the office of Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Three Hundreds of Chiltern. The appointment is one of the ways in which a Member of Parliament can resign from the House of Commons.
