Legislation: Government Bills
Cultural Property (Armed Conflicts) Bill
MPs debated the Report stage and Third Reading of the Cultural Property (Armed Conflicts) Bill. The Bill has now received Royal Assent.
High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill
MPs debated Lords amendments to the High-Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Bill. The Bill has now received Royal Assent.
Criminal Finances Bill
MPs debated the Report stage and Third Reading of the Criminal Finances Bill. The Bill now progresses to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.
Legislation: Private Members' Bills
Two Private Members' Bills were introduced to the House following Ten Minute Rule Motions this week:
On Friday 24 February, MPs debated the Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (Ratification of Convention) Bill. The Bill passed its Report stage and Third reading and now passes to the House of Lords for consideration.
The Awards for Valour (Protection) Bill started its Report stage debate but was adjourned. Debate is expected to resume on Friday 24 March.
Motions on Statutory Instruments
MPs debated and approved motions on the Police Grant and Local Government Finance Reports.
Urgent Questions and Statements
This week Urgent Questions were asked on:

- Parliament news: Urgent Question on the case of Jamal al-Harith
There were no oral ministerial statements this week.

Opposition day debates
On Thursday 23 February, MPs debated armed forces and the investigation and prosecution of historical cases in the House of Commons. This subject was chosen by the Democratic Unionist Party.
Backbench business debates
On Thursday 23 February in the Commons Chamber, MPs took part in a general debate which had been scheduled by the Backbench Business Committee.
