This week in the Commons, MPs debated the Telecommunications Infrastructure Bill, the contaminated blood scandal, the Grenfell Tower Fire Inquiry and more.
Legislation: Government Bills
European Union (Withdrawal) Bill 2017-19
The European Union (Withdrawal) Bill 2017-19 was presented to the House of Commons on Thursday 13 July. There was no debate at the First Reading of this Bill. A Second Reading has not yet been scheduled.
Telecommunications Infrastructure (Relief from Non-Domestic Rates) Bill
MPs debated the Second Reading of the Telecommunications Infrastructure (Relief from Non-Domestic Rates) Bill on Monday 10 July. The Telecommunications Infrastructure (Relief from Non-Domestic Rates) Bill passed Second Reading without division. The Bill will next be considered in a Committee of the whole House on a date yet to be announced.
Air Travel Organisers' Licensing Bill
MPs debated the Committee of the whole House and remaining stages of the Air Travel Organisers' Licensing Bill on Tuesday 11 July. The Bill has now completed its stages in the Commons and moves on to the Lords for consideration.
