This week in the House of Commons MPs debated the Bus Services Bill, Pension Schemes Bill, the conflict in Yemen, and more.

Legislation: Government Bills

Bus Services Bill

Both the Report stage and Third Reading of the Bill took place on Monday 27 March. The Bill passed its Third Reading with Amendments and now returns to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.

Neighbourhood Planning Bill

Some Lords amendments to the Neighbourhood Planning Bill were agreed to. A Reasons Committee was established to explain why the Commons disagreed with Lords Amendment 12. The Bill has now returned to the House of Lords for further scrutiny.

Pension Schemes Bill

MPs debated the Report stage and Third Reading of the Pension Schemes Bill on Wednesday 29 March. The Bill was passed with amendments so now returns to the House of Lords.
