Lords private members' bills

The House of Lords debated three private members' bills on Friday 24 November, covering topics on an amendment to the Equality Act 2010, the duty of local authorities towards children receiving home education and the assessment of a borrower's creditworthiness.
A private member's bill is a type of public bill (that affects the public). Private members' bills must go through the same set of procedures as other public bills.
