What does it mean to have all stages of a Bill in one day?

Some Bills are fast-tracked through the Commons and receive their Second and Third Reading on the same day in the House of Commons. Economic crisis, counter-terrorism and matters related to the devolution settlement have all been used to justify previous expedited legislation.
