Urgent Question on manipulation of forensic evidence: 27 November 2017

Shadow Home Secretary, Diane Abbott, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on the manipulation of forensic evidence in a laboratory in Manchester.
The Minister for Policing and the Fire Service, Nick Hurd, responded on behalf of the Government and stated that the Government’s immediate priority was to work with the police and the independent Forensic Science Regulator to establish the full scale of the issue and the potential impact to the public.
