MP for Vauxhall, Kate Hoey, asked the Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, to update the House on the unfolding situation in Zimbabwe in the House of Commons on 15 November 2017.
The Foreign Secretary told the House that the British Embassy in Harare was monitoring the situation closely but that we "cannot tell how developments in Zimbabwe will play out in the days ahead". This followed the apparent removal of Robert Mugabe, the Zimbabwean President, over the course of the previous night.
