Statement on international investment: 17 October 2017

Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, made a statement in the House of Commons on international investment.
The Minister affirmed the Government's commitment to international investment and set out the proposed reforms to the scrutiny of foreign investment.
The statement was responded to by Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Rebecca Long-Bailey, who raised concerns that the proposals were inadequate and delayed.
