This week in the House of Commons MPs debated the European Union (Approvals) Bill, the Finance Bill, the Race Disparity Audit and more.

Legislation: Government Bills

The European Union (Approvals) Bill

The European Union (Approvals) Bill was debated in a Committee of the whole House on 10 October. The Bill passed without amendment and was subsequently read a third time and was passed again. The Bill will now be considered in the House of Lords.

The Finance Bill

The Finance Bill was debated in a Committee of the whole House on 11 October. The House divided on a number of amendments to the Bill, and debate will resume on the Committee stage on 17 October.
