Statement on Hurricane Irma: 7 September 2017

Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Alan Duncan, made a statement in the Commons on Hurricane Irma on 7 September 2017.
The Minister outlined the response from the Foreign Office and Department of International Development to the crisis and support for affected British Overseas Territories.
Shadow FCO Minister Liz McInnes responded to the statement on behalf of the Opposition, pressing the Minister on what steps the Government will be taking to support relief and reconstruction in the affected area.
