parliamentlive.tv has video and audio footage of all UK Parliament events taking place in public.
This includes debates and chamber proceedings from both the House of Commons and the House of Lords and all committees. Sometimes we also have video coverage of special events at Parliament.
This is available live and on-demand, with an archive which goes back to 4 December 2007.
How can I view parliamentlive.tv?
Parliamentlive.tv can be watched on desktop, mobile and tablet and is supported on most up-to-date browsers.
If you have a poor internet connection, change the quality of the video stream and picture by clicking the quality button on the player.

How do I find what I'm looking for?
Use search on the top right of the homepage to find an event by name, Member, what House it took place in or date.If you are looking for an event taking place on the day, have a look at the Brief Guide on the homepage. This can also be viewed as a calendar by clicking Full Event Guide.
On the homepage, you can also see what is going on in the House of Commons, House of Lords and committees.
Can I just listen to the event and not play the video?
Yes. If you only want to listen to an event, click the audio only button below the player. You can switch back at any time.
Why are some events only available in audio?
Not all locations in Parliament have the facilities for video recording so sometimes we can only record the audio.
How do I download the video or audio?
You can get an email with a link to a section of video or audio you want. To do this, go to the event you are interested in and select the start and end times of the section you want to download. Then follow the steps to agree to the terms and conditions.
You will get an email confirmation within a few minutes. While most requests will be rendered shortly after that, it may take up to 24 hours for you to receive your download link during busier times.
If you don't receive an email confirmation with details of your clip request, please try to download your clip again, making sure that you have:
- entered your correct email address
- read and agreed to the terms and conditions
If you still don't receive your download link, the video might have been temporarily removed. You can contact us for further information.
How many clips can I download?
You can make a maximum of 5 clip requests within a 24 hour period.
Can I download video clips on iOS devices?
Yes, you can watch, share and select clips for download on iOS devices. When the clip is ready you will receive an email with a link to the file. If you would like to save it to your files, we recommend using an alternative device.
How can I share the events on social media?
To share the video or audio of an event, click the share tab below the player. You can share it automatically via Facebook, Twitter, Google and LinkedIn. You can also share a web address of the event.
To share a specific section, select the start and end times you want. You can again share automatically to a social network, via a link or copy the embed code to use on your own site.
Are there any restrictions on how I use the video and audio?
It is important you comply with UK Parliament's Conditions of Use for video and audio. Recordings are for personal use only.

What do I get when I use the RSS Feed?
You can subscribe to the RSS feed by clicking on the icon on the homepage and copying it to your preferred RSS reader. It includes the most recent 25 events. RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and lets users view the latest content from a website through a feed reader rather than having to visit the actual website.
