Football Association give evidence to Lords Committee

The Football Association gave evidence to the House of Lords Social Policies and Consumer Protection Committee on Thursday 16 December as part of its inquiry into Grassroots Sport and the EU.
The Committee heard from Robert Sullivan, Head of Public Affairs, who was asked questions in relation to:
- The balance between funding of elite and grassroots activities
- Whether there is a case for changes to legislation around broadcasting and intellectual property rights in order to assure funding for grassroots sports
- How sport can be used to effectively deliver social objectives
- How the EU can assist in these areas
The Committee also heard from the Lawn Tennis Association and the Rugby Football Union.
