Secretary of State to give evidence to Education Committee

The Education Committee are to take evidence from the Secretary of State for Education on the Spending Review Settlement for the Department for Education and The Schools White Paper 2010.


The Committee will take evidence from the Secretary of State for Education, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, and the Permanent Secretary at the Department for Education, David Bell.

The session will be in two parts and will cover the Spending Review settlement for the Department for Education, before moving on to examine the proposals in the Government’s recently published Schools White Paper 2010: ‘The Importance of Teaching’.
