Government Respond to the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive Report

The Committee received the Government response to its report on the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive on 8 April 2010
The response was produced before the election of the new coalition Government, by Lord Myners, the then Financial Services Secretary at HM Treasury.
The current Financial Secretary, Mark Hoban MP, recently wrote to keep members updated on the status of negotiations on the Directive.
