MPs look closely at regional transport priorities including high speed trains

The Commons Transport Committee takes further evidence from diverse stakeholders today about what type of transport development - nationally and regionally - should be prioritised in order to support the economy.

Part of this session will examine a range of issues relating to the government's proposal to build a second high speed rail line to run northwards from London to Birmingham and beyond.
