MPs examine interpretations of localism

The Communities and Local Government Select Committee will today question three leading figures in the localism debate about how they are interpreting the Government’s ideas of localism and the Big Society in their areas.

Ideas put forward by today’s witnesses include strengthening civic communities and developing co-operative or mutual models for delivery of local public services.

The meeting will take place in the Grimmond Room, Portcullis House.
