Government and Commission respond to the Sub-Committee's European Social Fund report

In March 2010 the Sub-Committee published a report on the European Social Fund which made recommendations on the working of the ESF, how it could be improved to ensure it targets the hardest to reach, how effectiveness and flexibility could be ensured and on the future of the fund. On 4 October 2010 the Government responded to the report. A debate will be held on the floor of the House in due course.
