The Public Administration Select Committee today publishes a Report containing the Government’s responses to its Reports “Goats and Tsars: Ministerial and other appointments from outside Parliament” and “Too Many ministers?”.

In this Report the Committee highlights its disappointment with the quality of the government responses, which are described as being “wholly inadequate and devoid of merit”. The Committee intends to return to the issues raised in their initial Reports as part of their inquiry “What do ministers do?”
