A debate will be held in Westminster Hall today, Thursday 21 October, at 2.30pm on the Committee’s First Report of Session 2009-10, Cutting crime: the case for justice reinvestment

It is expected that the debate will last for approximately three hours. The Committee published its First Report, Cutting crime: the case for justice reinvestment, (HC 94-I of Session 2009-10) on 14 January 2010. The Government response was published in March 2010, Cm7819. The report and Government response are available on the Committee’s website:

The debate is open to the public. Seating is limited and there is no system of tickets or advance booking. Visitors who wish to attend the sitting should enter via Cromwell Green entrance (next to St Stephen’s entrance), House of Commons. Please advise security staff that you are attending a Westminster Hall debate and they will direct you.  You should allow at least half an hour to go through security.
