Teaching unions and education psychologists give evidence on behaviour in schools

The Education Committee holds its first oral evidence session for its inquiry on behaviour and discipline in schools at 9.40 am on Wednesday 13 October in the Wilson Room, Portcullis House.

- Dr Patrick Roach, Deputy General Secretary, National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT);
- Dr Mary Bousted, General Secretary, Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL); and
- Ian Toone, Senior Professional Officer (Education), Voice the Union
The purpose of both evidence sessions will be to discuss different overall approaches to promoting and maintaining good behaviour in school. The first session is likely also to have a particular focus on factors which affect child behaviour, both within school as well as outside school.
