Committee hear from Defence Chief and Security Minister

In the last of three public evidence sessions in its inquiry into “Who does UK Grand Strategy?”, the Public Administration Select Committee will hear from the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Sir Jock Stirrup and the Security Minister, Baroness Neville-Jones as well as former serving officers Lieut. Gen. Sir Robert Fry and Cdre Steven Jermy.
The session is likely to examine, among other things, the concerns expressed publicly by the CDS about the UK’s capacity for strategy making and the Security Minister’s remit in this area of government.
