Evidence from Secretary of State

The Energy and Climate Change Committee will hold a one-off oral evidence session with Chris Huhne MP, Secretary of State, Department of Energy and Climate Change, at 9.45 am on Wednesday 15 September 2010 in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House. Timings are approximate.

The session will cover a broad range of issues, including:

• the impact of spending cuts,
• the draft national policy statements,
• gas, carbon-capture and new nuclear build, and
• protecting energy consumers.
