Purpose of session:

The session provides an opportunity to question the Acting Chief Executive of the UK Border Agency on progress in dealing with the reductions in funding arising from the Comprehensive Spending review, the recent criticisms of the Agency made by both the Independent Chief Inspector of UKBA and the NAO, the possible appearance of a backlog in dealing with new asylum cases, the continuing problems with the e-Borders programme and more generally on the work of the UKBA.
