The Committee will hold an Evidence session on Wednesday 27 April 2011 at 10.30 in Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster

This is the second evidence session for the Infrastructure and Development inquiry. It will explore how donors can stimulate private sector financing for development.

 

Professor Keith Palmer has founded a number of development funds operating in low-income countries. Andrew Reicher heads the Programme Management Unit of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), a multi-donor organisation which creates and funds business activities to help boost private infrastructure investment in poor countries.
