The Education Committee takes evidence on thresholds for intervention with families in a further session as part of its child protection inquiry.

Purpose of the session

The aim of this session is to consider thresholds for intervention with families, particularly those relating to care proceedings and adoption; and the effectiveness of adoption in improving outcomes for children in the child protection system.
