Treasury Committee takes evidence on Independent Commission on Banking final report

Leading figures from Barclays PLC and Standard Chartered Bank will appear before the Treasury Select Committee on Wednesday 14 December to answer questions about the Independent Commission on Banking final report.

In an evidence session regarding the Autumn Statement on Wednesday 7 December, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, announced to the Treasury Committee that the Government’s official response to the ICB proposals will be published on Monday 19 December.
