Committee visit to Arsenal FC

On 1 February 2011, as part of its Football governance inquiry, members of the Committee visited Arsenal Football club for a meeting with the Chief Executive, Ivan Gazidis and his Senior Team, as well as meeting two fan groups, the Arsenal Supporters Trust and the Red Action.
In addition to touring the stadium, the Committee also met with representatives of a number of Premiership clubs and learned firsthand the realities of football from Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s Manager.
In the course of gathering evidence for the inquiry the committee has previously visited Manchester City and will be going to other football clubs both in the UK and Europe.
