Purpose of session
The session is intended to follow up the evidence received on 30 November from Rt Hon David Blunkett MP, NGOs and Mrs Janis Sharp on the issues arising from both the US-UK Extradition Treaty and the European Arrest Warrant. Ms Peirce represents Mr Ahmad, who has been held in custody for six years awaiting extradition on terrorism-related charges.
