Home Affairs Committee continues its inquiry into Police Finances

Purpose of session:

This is the second evidence session of a short inquiry into police finances, focusing on the allocation of central funding to police authorities, as announced by the Minister of State for Policing and Criminal Justice, Rt Hon Nick Herbert MP, in a written statement on 13 December.  The Committee will be conducting a longer inquiry, into the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the police, in March.
