Barclays' Bob Diamond questioned by Treasury Committee

As part of its inquiry into Competition and Choice in the Banking Sector, the Commons Treasury Committee held an evidence session with executives from Barclays Plc.

Chair of the Committee, Andrew Tyrie MP, said:

"This is a crucial time for the banking industry. We are grateful to Bob Diamond for agreeing to come before us so soon after taking up his position as Group Chief Executive of Barclays, just ten days before this hearing."
