This was the second evidence session of the inquiry, which is looking into the European Rail Market and the Role of the Channel Tunnel.
The Committee questioned Mr Petrovic on issues such as:
- Eurostar's thoughts about the competition they face from other companies wishing to use the Channel Tunnel
- Whether ticket-buying can be made simpler for connecting journeys further into Europe and access charges reduced
- The role of the European Rail Agency in regulating Europe's railways and the Channel Tunnel
