Committee to take evidence on the Closure of DFID's programme in Burundi

On Tuesday 5 July 2011, Committee Room 5, Palace of Westminster, the Committee will take evidence from:

This session will explore the impacts of the decision to close DFID’s bilateral aid programme in Burundi and DFID’s future strategy to focus solely on assisting with integration into the East African Community.  The first panel is an opportunity to explore the likely consequences of the decision that has been taken. The second panel will allow important issues that have arisen in the evidence and during the MPs visit to Burundi to be discussed with the Minister.
