Piracy off the coast of Somalia

The Committee will hold its second of three evidence sessions in its inquiry into Piracy off the coast of Somalia. This session will examine the UK’s anti-piracy policy overall, including NATO and other operations in which the UK is involved; it will also examine the situation on land in Somalia in particular the issues that are both causing piracy and proving an obstacle to international efforts to resolve it.
