Committee to hold Inquiry into Air passenger duty (APD)

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee today announces a short inquiry into how air passenger duty affects individuals, airports and airlines, businesses and tourism in Northern Ireland. The inquiry will look to contrast the UK rate of APD to the low rate in force in the Republic of Ireland.
The Committee will, courtesy of the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, hold its first public evidence session on the inquiry in the Parliament Buildings, Stormont. Details are:

Background
The meeting will be the Committee’s first evidence session this Parliament to be held away from Westminster.
