This one-off evidence session will focus on:

• The nature of DFID's activities in Libya and how much it is spending, including whether policy is being made on the hoof
• The role of other organisations, multilaterals and the Arab League
  DFID's role in post-conflict Libya in particular whether Libya has development needs that DFID could usefully help with (e.g. gender, infrastructure, private sector development)
• The implications of Libya for DFID's policies, including humanitarian relief and the need for a middle income strategy
• The opportunity cost, ie. what other budgets might be reduced
• How DFID's response to Libya will fit into any wider Middle East DFID policy approach (ie. does it tie together with concerns in Egypt, Syria and/or Yemen)
