Committee to hear evidence from Minister for the Armed Forces

This is the seventh evidence session of inquiry on the Strategic Defence & Security Review (SDSR) and National Security Strategy (NSS).
The key aim of the session is to explore whether the outcomes of the SDSR flow from the NSC and NSS in a strategic and coherent manner. This will also be an opportunity to question the Minister on the Defence Planning Assumptions and capability decisions contained in the SDSR and the financial considerations that underpin them.
