The Science Minister, David Willetts, gives evidence to the Science and Technology Committee on pharmaceutical firm Pfizer's decision to close its research and development facility in Sandwich, Kent.
Questions will focus on the impact of the closure and what it means for UK plc’s ability to use science to drive the economy.
David Willetts also gives evidence for two other inquiries currently being undertaken by the Committee: strategically important metals and the UK Centre for Medical Research and Innovation.
